Her career as a Registered Nurse began at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Illinois. She later relocated to California, where she served as an Emergency Room Nurse at Regional Medical Center of San Jose.

Loreen, also known as Kavu, is survived by her cherished children, Andrew and Eli Coker, her loving parents Charles and Mary Odemu, and siblings Evaline, Emilly, Violet, Humphrey, David, and Diana Odemu. She is fondly remembered by her niece Gina and nephews Martin and Benjamin. Her Sister-in-Law Rose and Brother-in-Law Sam hold her dear in their hearts.

Preceded in death by her grandfathers Gerishon Mage and Andrew Mwavali, Loreen/Kavu left a legacy of love for travel and cherished moments at the beach with her boys. She had a passion for sharing recipes, preparing meals, and delivering them to her extended family and friends.
