UNSW Scholarships for International Students Commencing Term 1, 2024-2025

UNSW Scholarships for International Students is an awesome program made for undergraduates and postgraduates students starting full-time study. By submitting an application for the UNSW Scholarships for International Students Commencing Term 1, 2024 (PUCA1029) you may be considered for the scholarships listed in the below table. More scholarships may be progressively added to this list.

To apply for PUCA1029, please register an account in the Scholarship Application Online portal, or if you have already created an account, log in and submit your application. You can also access the Scholarship Application Online portal using the Register and Login buttons on the right side of this page.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify:

  • Hold the status of an international student.
  • Enroll for full-time on-campus studies in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at UNSW (excluding UNSW Online and UNSW Canberra).
  • Obtain an offer of admission for an eligible program for Term 1, 2024 by November 30, 2023.
    • The offer of admission should either be an unconditional undergraduate or postgraduate Letter of Offer, or an undergraduate or postgraduate Conditional English Package Offer (UEEC). For the latter, students must enroll in the UNSW Institute of Languages and successfully complete the program before starting in Term 1, 2024.
  • Offer 1: Full tuition fee scholarship paid directly towards tuition fees for the minimum duration of program
  • Offer 2: $20,000 per annum paid directly towards tuition fees for the minimum duration of program

Recipients of the Scholarship may also be offered the following:

  • Guaranteed ‘fast-track’ application and interview for on-campus accommodation at a UNSW Kensington College
  • Invitation to UNSW networking events
  • Guaranteed entry to the UNSW Professional Development Program
  • Ceremony to award the scholarship

Selection Criteria

Each applicant will be assessed on their ability to demonstrate:

  • Academic Merit
  • Leadership skills (school, workplace or community)
  • Extra-curricular activities (sporting, cultural activities, volunteer/work experience)
  • Reasons for undertaking studies at UNSW
